There are a number of different alerts and warnings shown when creating orders. This article will help you to identify and understand why you are seeing these.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Deliveries Icon
This warning icon will appear if you are using Pi's Deliveries module to book in your orders. You will see this icon when adding a product to a basket - it is there to inform you if that particular product is part of any outstanding book ins.
If you do come across this warning hover your pointer over the icon to view more information.
NB. The icon can also help to prevent any over ordering on products as you will be able to see if a delivery is due to arrive on a future date.
High Value
The High value alert will appear when the total for an item in your basket has exceeded the set amount. As default, this is set to £100 but can be amended by selecting Configure. This warning will not stop orders being sent, it is a safety net to highlight high costs and to help you check the correct quantities have been entered.
Missing Phone Number
The first orders to suppliers will require a phone number to be added. This is to help suppliers make contact regarding sent orders. This is a remembered field - once a number has been added the alert will disappear and orders can be sent.
NB. Ensure this is kept up to date.
Minimum Order Value
You will be alerted if you do not meet a supplier's minimum order value. This only applies if a minimum order value has been set by the supplier. For own supplier orders this will depend on how the accounts have been set up.
NB. This alert will not stop orders from being sent.
Requires Approval
If using Pi's Piggybank module, users will be alerted if an order requires approval before being sent to the supplier. This relates to and is based on organisation budgets set up within Piggybank.
