Booking In Of Your Orders
This article will help you book in Cherry Pi orders. This is a quick and easy process, providing the ability to record deliveries using a supplier order as a template.

The top section of your deliveries will include both your delivery and order information. This is where you can select the delivery date and save/cancel changes. Delivery dates and times help ensure your book in is accurate - this especially helps when it comes to tracking stock count and budget spend. The Add item text field allows you to add any substituted items. (These need to be available in Pi's Inventory module first before you are able to add. The first time you are invoiced for a product will make them available to use.) The Filter items text field will help you search for products within the delivery. Search by product code or description. Use the check box to Hide finalised items to help you narrow down product lines that are not complete (eg. short delivered/missing). | |
Reset delivered quantities will reset all delivery lines to 0. | |
Information here will show (from left to right):
At the bottom left you have your Total. This can be viewed as Net or Gross. |
Getting Started
- Select the Cherry Pi module from the left-hand navigation bar
- Next to the search filters, click More to expand the search functions
- Use the Order Status drop-down and choose Pending Delivery (Book in)
- From the list of Cherry Pi orders due to be booked in, find your order and click Book in to start
You can also book in Cherry Pi orders via the Deliveries module. Select Deliveries from the left-hand navigation bar and choose Book In A Cherry Pi Order. You will be taken to the Book in order page. Here, you will see all Cherry Pi orders due to be booked in. Use the search fields to find your order, then click Book in.
The Book in option is based on suppliers that have been set up for deliveries. If you cannot see this option, please get in touch. Contact the Pi Helpdesk for access to Pi's Deliveries module.
Completing Deliveries
Use the Key Features at the beginning of this article to help understand the layout and features whilst booking in a delivery.
- Make sure a Delivery date (and time) has been entered (if your Expected delivery date has passed you will need to manually add the Delivery date, alternatively, if booking in on the Expected delivery date this will automatically be assigned)
- Check that you are happy with all products you have received, and that the Expected and Delivered quantities match
- If no issues/you have received what was expected, product lines will be Finalised with a tick to the right
- Click Save changes to complete
