Menu Management
Pi's Allergen History provides you with all allergen changes against recipes and ingredients. Within this feature you can set up email notifications to receive alerts based on the kind of changes you care about and how often you'd like to receive these. The allergen change logs began on 10 June 2021. Any allergen changes that occurred before that date will not be displayed. If you do not yet have access to this feature, contact the Pi Helpdesk and request for View allergen history to be added to your profile.

Getting Started
- Select the Piranha module from the left-hand navigation bar
- Select Allergen History
- Use the Recipes and Ingredients tabs to view listed allergen changes
Recipes Tab
Within the Recipes tab, use the search functions to find your recipes and change your date range. Against each recipe you will see the number of Allergen changes, including dates for the Most recent change. Clicking on the '+' icon to the left of each recipe will expand to show the listed allergens and details of the changes made.
Recipe Allergen Change Notifications
Within the Recipes tab, you can opt in to receive emails about changes to allergens in your recipes. You can choose how often you want to be notified and configure what kind of changes you care about. Click Save to complete this set up.
The options here will include...
- Frequency - daily, weekly, monthly
- Type - none, all, increasing severity only
If over 50 allergen changes have been made, these will not be included in the email body. A link to the Allergen History page will be included instead, with the date range pre-filtered (dependant on the selected frequency for the alerts).
Ingredients Tab
Within the Ingredients tab, use the search functions to find your products and change your filtered view based on whether these are in use or not. Against each product you will see the number of Allergen changes, including dates for the Most recent change. Clicking on the '+' icon to the left of each product will expand to show the listed allergens and details of the changes made.
