Getting Started

Starting a Transfer
To begin transferring stock...
- Click Select on the site you are transferring stock from
- Select the Stock movements drop-down
- Select Transfers
- Click Create transfer (located top-right)
- Select the date/time of transfer
- Select the site you are transferring to (these can be switched)
- Click Next
- Select Add product to start searching for the product(s) being transferred (search by code or description)
- Enter the packs/units/measurements based on what is being transferred
- Click Save when finished
If a site does not currently stock a product that is being transferred, an alert will appear. You can still transfer the product, but it will not be included on the site's stock sheets. If you would like to mark the product as counted at the site, select the Require stock count option.
Completing a Transfer
Once saved, the outgoing transfer will show as Complete (this isn't complete until the site receiving the stock has accepted):
Pending transfers are shown against sites on Pitstop's dashboard:
To complete a transfer...
- Click Select on the site receiving the transferred stock
- Click Review against the pending transfer alert
- Select Edit against the pending transfer
- Choose to Save & Approve or Reject
- If approved, the transfer will complete
Transferred stock will not be included in stock checks or any reports until it has been approved by the receiving site. Once transfer lists grow, you can select the Pending transfers checkbox to view pending transfers only amongst the list of completed historic.
